Solution of Windows 7 taskbar Problem with Java Applications

Well , did any one have the problem I got
in Windows 7 … I can’t pin JDownloader to my taskbar !
if I opened it and right-clicked the icon on taskbar and choosed Pin to task bar .. “javaw” program is pinned instead
and if I right-clicked it’s icon from start menu and choosed pin to taskbar .. I get the correct icon pinned in taskbar .. but when I click it … it opens a new icon in the taskbar !
Well this problem because JDownloader is a java application and is running from javaw process … although there is a way to make your java application have it’s unique process … but JDownloader team decided not to use it
A Solution I found for this problem … Which worked with JDownloader .. and should work with any Java application facing same problem :
Browse to your Java directory in Program Files … Make a Copy of ‘javaw.exe’ file … and rename it to the Programs name … ( in this case I renamed it to “JDownloader.exe” )
then create a new shortcut to the new file, plus a parameter .. which will be your Program’s JAR file location
“C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin\JDownloader.exe” -Xmx512m -jar “[J-Downloader's Path]\JDownloader.jar”
you may want to Right-Click the Icon .. and from it’s properties Choose “Change Icon” and choose your program’s icon .. ( instead of Java’s icon)
Now .. Right Click your Shorcut and Choose Pin to taskbar … Now you should have your program’s Icon in the taskbar … and if you opened it .. it won’t duplicate
note : firewall won’t recognize the “new” JDownloader … you should re-allow it . in it’s new shape
that’s all folks .

HP TouchSmart tx2-1035ee Notebook PC

I’ve just bought my TouchSmart (Congratulate me please :p)
and this is my feedback:
It came with it’s manuals ( HP & Vista )
A Remote Control , A Pen , 2 batteries ( one 4 cell , and the other 8 cell )
a tissue to clean the screen , which gets dirty with my fingerprints
a small bag , very bad bag , it doesn’t have any handle to carry from :s , it fits only from keeping dust away from the tablet
and the most annoying thing it have 32-Bit Vista Installed ( on a 64 Bit Machine ) !!
With too much pre-Installed demos and toolbars , I hate those advertisements
(but there is cool games free for forst time only :p )
and there is a note (with very small font) on the box , saying that if you want to take full advantage of your AMD Turion processor , you have to buy Vista 64 Bit !!
But , thanks Mansoura University which offers free Vista for it’s Students :flirt:
problems I’ve faced till now : Hardware problem with keyboard
while switching to/from Tablet/Laptop mode , sometimes keyboard doesn’t work at all !
it’s solution was HARD RESET , which is : Switch off the Notebook , Remove battery and power cord if conencted
then press and hold the Power Switch for full 30 seconds
Edit: HP has solved this problem and made WinFlash Utility to solve this problem ( Here )
another annoying thing , no CDs/DVDs came with the notebook , only a paper saying that if you want recover DVD , you have to burn your own :s
actually there is a Recovery partition to Recover without DVDs , but it is more safe to have your Restore on DVDs.

JDownloader … One of the best Download Manager I’ve Ever used
It makes rapidshare much easier ( and megaupload too )
It doesn’t take the links in a single line inputbox , but in a BIG multiline textarea
each link in a line … OK ? it matches the links and get the common part , this will the Folder’s name 
and add the files to it’s downloading queue , and begin downloading .. SMARTLY
after the first file downloads .. it wait the 15 minutes between each file , then start the next file
.. and you can give the program your router’s username and password , so when you reach rapidshare’s limit it automatically reset your connection , to renew your IP , then continue downloading !!!!
In case you are downloading RARed Parts with password , you can type the password, so the program will automatically extract the files after it finishes the download !
